Frédéric ROSSI
Principal Geologist
Frédéric Rossi is the founder and President of ROW Geoconsulting, with more than 20 years of international experience in geological hazard characterization, structural geology, and GIS/remote sensing.
He specializes in geological mapping, advanced digital cartography, 2D and 3D geomodelling, and geohazard assessment for critical infrastructure projects including dams, pipelines, nuclear power plants, offshore wind farms, and oil and gas facilities.

His career includes leading large-scale geological and geohazard investigations across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.
He combines expertise in structural interpretation, stratigraphy, and geomorphology with GIS-based methods to produce comprehensive 2D and 3D geological models and databases. Before establishing ROW Geoconsulting, he held senior positions at Geoter, Fugro and Ginger CEBTP, contributing to EU- and World Bank-funded mapping and hazard assessment programs.
Beau WHITNEY
Quaternary Geologist
Dr. Beau Whitney is Director and co-owner of ROW Geoconsulting. He is a Quaternary geologist and paleoseismologist.
He began his consulting career in 2000. Since then he has worked on geohazard and engineering geology projects across six continents.
His expertise includes, seismic source characterization (for PSHA and DSHA), and geomorphological mapping for both onshore and offshore projects.

He has worked extensively in regions with complex tectonic settings, with a research focus in Stable Continental Regions (SCRs), where he works towards improving seismic source characterization methods for seismic hazard analysis.
In addition to his consulting work, he has held academic positions at the University of Western Australia and actively contributes to international scientific committees and working groups dedicated to seismic hazards and active tectonics.
